5 Must Use SEO Tools to Reach the Top

As you may or may not know, I won a copy of Aaron’s SEO book.  I have been skimming through the book, learning  way more than I expected (now I know why people buy the book;), and thought I would give some tips of my own for search engine optimization. 

There are paid plans but I have been using the basic FREE plan.  HitTail reveals in real time which keywords people use to find your site.  

Knowing the most used keywords is essential.  This tool should be used while picking out a domain name and for everyday blogging.  This is how people find your site.  It can help you use a more popular keyword to describe something in your posts, categories, and titles.  Super important!!

This will get your entire site indexed whether you’re writing a new post or editing an old one.  Excellent for SEO.

We all know how important QUALITY backlinks are but do you know what anchor text is being used in those backlinks? Are you using they keywords that are most beneficial for what you were trying to convey.  This tool will show you your backlinks with the anchor text used.  GREAT!

I love this.  It will let you know exactly how you rank with any term.  It also tells you how the competitors rank for that particular term as well.  Very useful! 

These are all free tools, however, if you are going to buy something, I suggest you buy Aaron’s SEO Book!  Definately worth the money if you are a serious blogger.
