I have a rule for my blog, if it's not PG rated or lower, it's a no go pretty much, that way I can avoid anything like that. My sense of humor is in line with some of the worst, but because I too have a standard of professionalism - don't share my personal sense of humor or slang. I too was let down and agree that the quick witted humor inspired blog seems to have taken a turn to negativity. I was a huge fan of BobMeetsWorld, wondering what happened?

I guess different cultures have different sensitivity and perceptions towards certain words and nuances.

We have to be culturally sensitive if we want to thrive in the diversity that is the world wide web and establish a credible online presence.

I wrote this post before your post today. Nevertheless, I'm offended because of the respect issue. The F-word is everywhere and is bad enough but you hardly ever hear the C-word. Not only that, I consider you a professional blogger and I don't think it was very professional. You have to remember, there are some LADIES that read your blog and don't care for that type of language. I'm not mad, just a little let down. I'm old fashion and think that kind of talk belongs in a bar. I'm sorry if you think I made a big deal...I was just venting. I do miss your humor though ;)

We've explained how the C-word has a totally different impact on this side of the world. It gets thrown around like you guys use the F word for everything and anything.

As far as you being offended, we don't really see a reason why. We didn't call you or anyone else for that matter a C-word.
