One thought, though Copyscape is great at what it does, a natural compliment is Google Alerts (google.com/alerts) as is can automatically search for key phrases in important articles and notify you of duplication via email.
Beats having to regularly check those articles in another service.
Also works great with MaxPower’s Digital Fingerprint plugin to help detect RSS Scraping.
Hope that this helps!

Great list, Lori! I hadn’t seen some of the blog editors before. I keep thinking I’ll switch to offline editing one of these day, but haven’t quite found the tool I want to use.

I don’t use tag clouds but I have seen some use this one.

bloggingcents/Lori: I just found the most informative and well built site. Its yours,I have been looking around a diff. blogs to get the flav for it I’ve been wanting to get a blog up and running but I wanted to look around and check out others. I came upon yours tonight and I just loved it.Esp. the part where you give the list for blogging tools. I was shocked and so thankful that I found this. THERE is alot of lingo out there that I’m not real sure about and have been trying to figure it all out. I want to make alittle extra income to help w/my health insur. I’m on a very fixed income and need alittle extra $ for the month to month needs that always come up. I’ve been told by so many people that you can’t make $ by blogging and maybe I won’t become rich but thats not what I’m about I’m about getting by and living. So I was hoping to pick your brain alittle. If you would in your “spare time” help me or mentor me ? Yeah sure I have time for you whoever you are…….but pleasssssssssssssseeeeeeeeeeeee do you have alittle bito second for me? Thanks and keep up the good work I enjoy your site, jjj
