2008 Blogging Goals

Even though I have learned a great deal in my 11mths of blogging, I know there is soooooo much more to learn. When I first started blogging, I never imagined there would be so much involved. Everything from html to Seo were just things I had never heard of and now, I consider myself to be quite savvy in both…considering I AM a stay-at-home mom;) There are many things I’ve accomplished that I didn’t expect. My goal was to get a blog and make money but I never expected to have 4 blogs and make as much money as I have. Despite my newbie success, there are many things that need to be worked on. I’ve compiled a goal list for each of my blogs.

Blogging with Cents

Cleanup and organize my sidebars.
Cleanup my plugins and update the keepers.
Work on increasing subscribers.
Link to previous posts more.
Rotate ads.
Recruit guest bloggers.
More how-to’s & tutorials.
Build better posts.

A Cowboy’s Wife

Tell more ranch/life stories.
Add ranch related videos.
Maybe hold a carnival or two.
Cleanup.

My Wooden Spoon

Cleanup sidebars. Add more text type links & remove unnecessary items.
Post more recipes with pictures.
Implement a better “print this” utility.
Increase subscribers and traffic.

General Blogging Goals

Comment more. I’m very bad about reading blogs via RSS and not commenting:(
Create 3 more blogs.
Encourage comments on my blogs.
Increase traffic and subscribers
More contests
Create NEW advertise pages for ALL my blogs.
Recruit sponsors for each blog.
Guest post on other blogs.
Learn more about SEO, networking, affiliate conversions.

BETTER POSTS

While this may seem like quite a bit, it’s easily reachable. It just takes patience and perseverance. I’m confident that I will accomplish ALL of this and much more. I look forward to blogging and gaining even more friends this year.
