10 Things I Will Not Do at the Next Blogher

Critiqued by Cowboytf | July 27, 2008 .

I was so grateful for the opportunity to go to Blogher this year in San Fransisco. Probably will be the only time in my life I ever go to SF in fact. There are some things that I would change for next time though so I thought it would be fun to make a list of 10 things I won’t do at the next Blogher.

I will NOT:

  1. Wear high heels.  I still can’t feel my big toes:(
  2. Show up without some cool swag!  I want to be remembered and I already have some fun ideas!
  3. Take a suitcase full of dressy clothes only to NOT wear them.
  4. Take a tote bag.  Next time, I will take a roller laptop bag!  My shoulder still has bruises.
  5. Sit in the corner contiplating whether or not to say hi to the “A-list” bloggers.
  6. Forget to take double Tylenol before hitting the vendor & PR room.
  7. Go without an extra laptop battery because charging was a pain.
  8. Go to the next Blogher weighing what I do.  I will weigh at least 20lbs less!
  9. Forget to eat.  So much to do, so little time…eating was not on the list.
  10. Make any of my friends feel like they were ditched.  And if they did, I greatly apologize.  It was no my intention at all.

One thing I will do, is take a vacation on the Outer Banks after my fun vacation from Blogher because I’m still both mentally and physically exhuasted!

I still find it ironic that I met you just an hour or so after I got that PR pitch email telling me how they liked my blog A Cowboy’s Wife!

I can really relate to your point #1 - Wear high heels. I still can’t feel my big toes:(.

I have lousy leg bone structure to begin with….so I always wear pant suits with low shoes. Can’t imagine wearing high heels….

Hopefully next year I’ll be able to attend, Barbara
